Water permeates from the outer wall of hollow fibers, which contain millions of tiny pores ranging from 0.01 to 0.1 micrometers. Algae, microorganisms, turbidity, bacteria, rust, mold, and metal components in the water are retained outside the membrane, leaving only clean water and minerals after filtration.

Clean water from this cartridge enters the inside of the hollow fiber membrane tubes of the remaining cartridge to push out impurities and bacteria adhered to the surface of the hollow fiber membrane. This process extends the cartridge's lifespan and system durability.

Thanks to Hollow Fiber Membrane technology, chlorine helps eliminate slime bacteria, mold, and algae that typically grow in water supply tanks, on the walls of water pipes, and in storage tanks.
