Discover a state-of-art water filtration technology of natural minerals retention
by Mitsubishi Cleansui

In 1970s, Mitsubishi Rayon (forerunner of Mitsubishi Chemical Cleansui) became the first corporation in the world to develop the Hollow fiber membrane technology from a superfine polyethylene material applied in hemofiltration and water filtration.

Acknowledging that vital minerals in water help to boost immunity and aid optimal bodily functions, Mitsubishi Cleansui is committed to providing high-quality drinking water with our Hollow fiber membrane technology.

Built-in with other technologies, we guarantee that every drop of tap water is filtered by highest level of purification and essential natural minerals is preserved for health benefits.

4 advantages of
Hollow fiber membrane technology

For over 40 years, Mitsubishi Chemical Cleansui Corporation has conducted a series of researches and has innovated Hollow fiber membrane technology with superior properties.

Extensive active surface with millions of filtering pores ensures both unclogged operation and high filtration efficiency.
Micropores (measuring 0.01 to 0.1 micrometers) safeguarding essential natural minerals for health benefits in tap water.
No chemicals employed, ensuring highest safety of direct drinking water
High-quality material ensures durability and prolongs expectancy of hollow fiber membrane
Extensive active surface with millions of filtering pores ensures both unclogged operation and high filtration efficiency.

Hollow fiber membrane consists of millions of pores, measuring 0.01 to 0.1 micrometers, creating porous structures with a surface area 4 times larger than flat membranes and 10 times that of solid activated carbon. This innovative design ensures maximum water filtration efficiency.

Micropores (measuring 0.01 to 0.1 micrometers) safeguarding essential natural minerals for health benefits in tap water.

Advanced technology used in manufacturing and controlling the pore sizes on surface of Hollow fiber membrane ensures complete removal of bacteria and impurities from water while retaining vital natural minerals in tap water.

No chemicals employed, ensuring highest safety of direct drinking water

Hollow fiber membrane is crafted from high-purity Polyethylene, ensuring safety of the filtered water by avoiding any chemical reactions, harmful solvents or plasticizers.

High-quality material ensures durability and prolongs expectancy of hollow fiber membrane

Hollow fiber membrane is crafted through melt spinning technique, bolstering its mechanical durability for up to 12 months, filtering approximately 8,000 liters.

4 filtration layers in
1 high-performance cartridge

Mitsubishi Cleansui technology effectively removes up to 13 harmful impurities, microorganisms,... Filtered water retains beneficial natural minerals and meets safety standards for tap water. At the end of the cartridge, Hollow Fiber Membrane effectively removes ultra-small impurities and bacteria that conventional activated carbon filtration methods cannot filter.

Non-woven fabric

3D structure aids in removing large impurities, and non-dissolvable particles up to 0.01mm without using any chemicals, ensuring safe and high-quality water.

Ion exchange fiber

Removing dissolved lead and heavy metals (manganese, iron, mercury). Ion exchange and absorption rates are 10-100 times faster than those of granular exchange mechanisms, ensuring remarkable durability and stability throughout multiple absorption-regeneration cycles. No increase in volume during water absorption, ideal for a compact cartridge.

Activated carbon

Efficiently absorbing residual chlorine, organic compounds, pesticides, and unpleasant odors while preserving the natural minerals content in tap water. Mitsubishi Cleansui's activated carbon has an adsorption capacity three times greater than common activated carbon.

Hollow fiber membrane

Water passes through sidewalls of tubes ranging in size from 0.01 to 0.1 micrometers. Algae, microorganisms, turbidity, bacteria, rust, mold, metallic components, etc., are trapped outside of the hollow fiber membrane. Only clean water and minerals retain after filtration.
