The product will be covered by warranty only when all of the following conditions are met:
The device is still within the valid warranty period.
The malfunction is confirmed by Mitsubishi Cleansui technicians as a manufacturer defect.
The product is not part of any warranty exclusion cases.
The warranty label and serial number are intact, with no signs of scratching, erasing, tearing, or fading.
The product is used exclusively with tap water (as per QCVN 01:2009/BYT), with water pressure between 0.07–0.35 MPa, at temperatures below 35°C and above freezing.
You should use an additional water meter, especially in households or offices where many people share the same water purifier.
After passing through four filtration stages (non-woven fabric, ion-exchange fiber, activated carbon, and hollow-fiber membrane), impurities, dirt, mold, dissolved lead, residual chlorine, and microplastics are all removed. The filtered water meets the quality indicators of QCVN 6-1:2010/BYT. Therefore, water filtered by the Cleansui EU101 – rich in natural minerals – is safe for direct consumption.
However, the input water must be treated tap water from the municipal supply.
Boiling the filtered water does not cause any danger or change its properties, and it can be used as normal.
The leakage-prevention system applied in the EU101 uses a single EUC3000 cartridge. Reducing the number of cartridges directly lowers the risk of leakage. This system is optimized through a shut-off valve located at the faucet. Water only enters the filter when the valve is opened; when it is closed, no water flows into the cartridge. This means the filter and all connecting hoses are not constantly exposed to static water pressure, helping minimize leaks to the greatest extent.
Cleansui’s leakage-prevention mechanism was first introduced in 1990 and has been maintained to this day for its premium water filtration devices, even though many other brands abandoned similar systems due to high operating and manufacturing costs.
According to market data, over 80% of under-sink water filtration systems used in high-end apartments and condominiums in Japan adopt this Cleansui leakage-prevention technology.
